Murmurations
There is a magic to murmurations. Anybody who has seen one knows this. Tens of thousands of individual birds all fly in formation to collectively swarm and unanimously agree to morph themselves into a limitless array of fluid shapes.
No bird is alike, and each has to find its own way; yet be responsive enough to others that the whole flock can effortlessly change direction. Everything is negotiated to allow for thousands of individual flight paths all while existing together.
